We are a fishmonger, a charcoal grill and a taverna at once. The fish hits the counter fresh at eight in the morning, and leaves exactly the way you want it.

Our story

Suncity. The fish of Ilioupoli.

Ilioupoli literally means sun city. That is why our badge arches the word Suncity above the name. A Cycladic fish taverna in our own Suncity, built out of a love for good, properly fresh fish, and strictly a family affair.

We started behind the fishmonger's counter and we never left it. We simply put a charcoal grill beside it, so the fish you choose in the morning can become your plate at lunchtime.

Over charcoalSea bream, sea bass, red porgy, sardine and octopus on the grill, with oil and lemon.
HandmadeTaramosalata, skordalia, spicy cheese, fava and crab salad, all made by us.

We cook daily: prawn pasta, seafood risotto, octopus with pasta, prawn saganaki and steamed mussels, alongside calamari and seafood fried to order.

What are your opening hours?

Tuesday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:30. Saturday: 08:00 - 17:00. Sunday: 08:00 - 16:30. Monday: closed. We open at eight in the morning, on fish market time.
